Ecstatic dance at Fargo in DeKalb: how to find it
Once a month on a Friday night, Yolanda Lozano leads ecstatic dance at Fargo, 641 E Lincoln Hwy in DeKalb. Fargo is a skate shop out front with a dance room in the back, so the first visit can be confusing. These photos show the way in.

Finding the dance room, step by step
1. Look for the FARGO sign
Fargo is in the old Fargo Theatre building at 641 E Lincoln Hwy in downtown DeKalb. The black FARGO Skateboarding sign hangs over the door.
2. Go in the front doors
On a Friday night the sign is lit up green. Walk right in the front doors at 641.
3. Walk past the skate shop counter
Inside, it's a skate shop with boards on the walls. It can feel like the wrong place, but it isn't. Keep going past the counter toward the back.
4. You made it: the dance room
The back opens into a big room with a smooth floor and a small stage. This is where we dance.
