History
Mainwood Dance Club is a long-running social-dance studio in the northwest suburbs. In 2025 it opened its floor on Sunday mornings to host a biweekly ecstatic dance — the first regular ecstatic container of its kind in the area.
The room is a wood dance floor with held space. Doors open at 9:45, the opening circle is at 10:00, the dance runs 10:30 to 12, then a sound bath, a closing circle at 12:30 and tea after.
