The evening

What to bring

• • Water bottle
• • Snacks or food you may need. Light healthy snacks, tea and water will be provided, and you can eat or take breaks whenever you need to.
• • Yoga mat or cushion for sitting and resting
• • Comfortable clothes for dancing, sitting and resting

On the dance floor

• • Please come on time
• • Come sober, no intoxicants before or during the evening
• • No talking on the dance floor during the ecstatic dance
• • No phones or cameras in the dance area during the ecstatic dance
• • Respect everyone's personal space
• • Have fun. Move as you wish, listen to your body.

Mantra music

Ananda Lila Kirtan

A family of musicians weaving ancient chants from many traditions with newly written sacred songs: accordion, harp, world rhythms, voices, gong and ambient soundscapes. They have been sharing kirtan around the Midwest since 2010, including at the Blue Lotus Buddhist Temple, the Theosophical Society and Himalayan Yoga & Meditation Center.

Ecstatic dance

Zig Tahir

An artist and ecstatic dance facilitator who has been holding floors since 2023. Inspired by nature, rhythm and art, he builds musical journeys that move through the whole range of expression, from stillness and vulnerability to joy and celebration. He is also one of Inner Haven's resident artists.
