We're gauging interest in a Sunday morning dance at Life Bar Arcade.

If enough dancers show up, Schaumburg gets its own Sunday morning ecstatic dance — sober, DJ-led, closing circle wrapped by 11:30. Barefoot is welcome and shoes are optional. Phones stay off the dance floor. Buy a ticket to help it happen, or just add your email so we know you'd come.

Life Bar Arcade is normally a bar, but during Ecstatic Dance it is a private sober event. The bar will be closed and no alcohol will be served until after the dance has ended.

$25 each. This is a pilot date. If it doesn't reach enough dancers, we'll move you to the other pilot date or refund you in full.

Sober container

Life Bar Arcade is normally a bar, but during Ecstatic Dance it is a private sober event. The bar will be closed and no alcohol will be served until after the dance has ended.

After the dance

Life Bar Arcade opens at 11:30, right as we finish — stick around for the vintage arcade cabinets, pinball and retro consoles. Dancers get all-day free play for $10, half off the usual price.

What to expect

Doors 9:30 AM, opening circle at 9:45, free-form dance 10–11, closing circle wrapping up by 11:30.

How to show up

Wear what lets you move. Barefoot is welcome and shoes are optional — clean indoor shoes are fine on this floor. Bring water. Phones stay off the dance floor.

Life Bar Arcade is a Schaumburg gathering space opening its floor on Sunday mornings for a pilot ecstatic dance — the first ecstatic container of its kind in the area.

Normally a bar and vintage arcade, the room becomes a private sober event during Ecstatic Dance — the bar stays closed until after we finish, and the arcade opens at 11:30 as we wrap.
