Our team

David Prorok

Founder · producer and tech · music as PROROK

One of the founders of Ecstatic Dance Suburbia and the creator of this website. David crafts original music with Suno, mixing in recordings, samples and stories from members of the Chicago Ecstatic Dance community, and shared his original music at one of our first Arlington Heights dances. He also founded Exponential Enlightenment and Full Moon Fusion, builds the Yoga Electronica website and ticketing, holds a computer science degree from UIUC and is a former Facebook engineer.

At our dances David opens the circle, holds operations and tech behind the scenes, and keeps this website running so finding your next floor is easy.
