Ecstatic dance on your phone
"I'd like to dance. Where are the dances this week?"
Save this site to your phone and that answer is one tap away. It works like an app, with no download and no sign-up needed.
Is there an ecstatic dance app for the Chicago area?
You don't need to download anything from an app store. Save ecstaticdance.app to your phone's home screen and it gets its own icon, called "Ecstatic Dance". Tap it and you land on this week's dances.
How do I add Ecstatic Dance to my iPhone home screen?
- Open ecstaticdance.app in Safari.
- Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up).
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Keep the name "Ecstatic Dance" and tap Add.
How do I add it on an Android phone?
- Open ecstaticdance.app in Chrome.
- Tap the three-dot menu in the top right.
- Tap Add to Home screen (or Install app).
- Confirm, and the icon appears with your other apps.
Where are the ecstatic dances this week near Chicago?
Every upcoming dance we host or partner with, with times, places and tickets, is on the tickets page. It's also where the home screen icon opens. You can see our venues on the venues page.
Can I keep track of my tickets, pass and rewards?
Yes. Sign in at your account with the email you used for tickets (Google or an email link). You'll see your upcoming dances, your Monthly Pass and the Sundays it covers, how many times you've danced with us, your friend link and any rewards.
Is there anything for people who keep coming?
Yes, and none of it is required. Your account shows rewards you've earned and a link to bring a friend. You can sign up for a volunteer spot and dance for free, and filling out the community questionnaire earns a free ticket.
How is this different from a WhatsApp group or a general events calendar?
It's only ecstatic dance. In one place you can learn what ecstatic dance is, find where it's happening this week, meet the DJs and sound practitioners and manage your own tickets.
